5280 Offroad Returns & Refunds Policy
We stand behind our gear, but we also know that custom-made items and trail-tested products have different rules. Here's how we handle returns and refunds for both our print-on-demand and in-stock items.
Print-on-Demand Items (Custom Apparel, Stickers, etc.)
No Returns for Buyer's Remorse
Since these items are made specifically for you when you order them, we don't accept returns due to size changes, color preferences, or buyer's remorse. Check those sizing charts carefully before ordering!
Exceptions: We absolutely cover items that arrive damaged, misprinted, or defective—that's on us, and we'll make it right.
In-Stock Items (Accessories, Recovery Gear, etc.)
Standard Returns
Items shipped from our Colorado facility may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery, provided they're unused and in original condition.
Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies to all returned in-stock items to cover handling, inspection, and repackaging costs.
Return Shipping: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
For All Products: We've got you covered if something goes wrong on our end.
Claim Window: Submit all claims within 30 days after receiving your product.
Lost in Transit: Claims must be submitted within 30 days after the estimated delivery date.

Address Issues & Unclaimed Packages
Wrong Address: If you provide an incorrect or insufficient address and your package gets returned to us, you'll cover the reshipment costs once we confirm the correct address. If we do not receive the returned package you will have to complete a new order and submit full payment for item and shipping. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses submitted on your end.
Unclaimed Packages: Packages that go unclaimed by you or the courier get returned to our fulfillment center. You'll be responsible for reshipment costs.
Important: Unclaimed returns are donated to charity after 30 days if not claimed.
Special Restrictions
Health & Hygiene Items: We cannot accept returns of sealed items like face masks once opened, for obvious health and safety reasons. These items will be disposed of if returned.
Custom/Personalized Items: Items made to your specifications or clearly personalized cannot be returned under standard return policies.
Refund Process
Approved Claims: Refunds for damaged, defective, or incorrect items are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive your claim.
Refund Amount:

Damaged/defective/incorrect items: Full refund including original shipping

In-stock item returns: Refund minus 20% restocking fee and return shipping costs

Print-on-demand returns: Not available except for our errors
Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase.
Processing Time: Allow 5–10 business days for refunds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Order Cancellations
Cancellation Requests: Orders may be cancelled before they enter production or ship from our facility. Contact sales@5280offroad.com immediately with your order number.
Cancellation Fee: A 10% cancellation fee may apply to orders that have already begun processing or require special handling to cancel. This fee covers administrative costs and any production that has already started.
Print-on-Demand: Once your print-on-demand items enter production we cannot modify or cancel orders.
In-Stock Items: Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled but may be eligible for return (subject to our return policy).
Exchanges
Print-on-Demand: We don't offer direct exchanges. You'll need to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
In-Stock Items: Direct exchanges may be available for defective items. For standard exchanges due to size or preference, the 20% restocking fee applies, plus you'll cover shipping costs for the replacement item. Contact us to discuss options.
